Midnight Snacks
Once again I have consumed about 400 calories as a “midnight snack.” I do this because I’m an insomniac, and all those yummy carbs help me fall asleep fast. But I hate this! I told my doctor about it and she put me on Rozerem, but it didn’t work at all so when I saw her today I declined a refill. (She says most of her patients don’t have good results with it.) But I neglected to get anything to replace it, and so I’m still eating a whole extra meal before bed. This has to stop!!

What are these “yummy carbs” that you’re eating? Ice-cream, pizza, sandwiches…what?
You should substitue these with buttermilk made from yogurt. Basically Yogurt, water, and mint leaves….swirl these for 5-10 minutes in the mixi. A glass or two will be very filling and will not add much to your carb count. And as a bonus buttermilk is very soothing for the hot summer months.

Add to Artorios recipe icecubes, do all in a blender and you have a delicious smoothie.
Add some pieces of mango if they are plenty available and put in the freezer until it has the same consistency as icecream: as delicious as ice cream minus the cream calories!

I figured out I was eating an extra 2200 calories per night (chips and candy cover peanuts) NOT GOOD.
Anyway, you can do it.
