Update
I keep not updating this blog. I haven’t mentioned yet that I’m back on NutriSystem which I did about a year ago for a couple of months. I’ve been on it, um…four days? Five? I’ve lost a couple of pounds. Today though I had Ben & Jerry’s ice cream because it was my last day with my current employer so my supervisor took me out. It was planned, so it’s okay.

Just stubbled over your blog… sounds like you have the same weight issues many of us have. I can relate to a lot of your blog posts… after spending tons of money on this and that and driving my family crazy I finally found my answer at www.yourhealthandwellness.ca The program was a big part of if but having Julie as a coach was the best… you should give it/her a try
Best of luck to you!

I’m starting up a diet blog and thought we could exchange links. My blog is new, but will be growing in the future. Thanks for considering it!

Meredith,
I’ve enjoyed reading your blog, all your insights. Today, I’m starting a 12-week teleseminar program through the Mental Toughness Institute for Weight Loss to helpe me reprogram my mind on how to be mentally tough in the process of a fit lifestyle.
My blog is http://theslimmichelle.blogspot.com. It’s purpose is for me to stay motivated and to also give knowledge and information to others throughout my journey.
Happy Travels!

I actually followed a health regiment that a friend was using that was recovering from addiction. I just did it because it promoted healthy fats and carbs but I noticed that I started losing weight. Might be basic stuff but it was the first that I had heard of it. A good article titled “The Importance of Nutrition in Addiction and Recovery” - http://www.myaddiction.com/education/articles/nutrition.html

Good effort.
Why don’t you consider a diet plan that allows you the occasional treat without having to explain yourself
There are fat loss guides that help you to lose weight while eating real food. Not supplements or milk shakes
A free site that outlines such a plan is
